A niece has the MIO gps - just saw it tonight -
SO... figured I would try and find out more about it.

Will also try and get a newsgroup created,
alt.satellite.gps.mio
so that MIO users will have some newsgroup along with the major players...

I doubt your niece even knows what a newsgroup is.

You don't have a MIO and you don't know any MIO users who want a newsgroup
but now you're going to get a group created to meet this non-existent need
and demand?

And what makes your pointless scheme interesting to users of Garmin, Tomtom
and Magellan equipment that you chose to tell by spamming their groups?
