Hi

when I open the SD card of my unit I find in the directory \usbtrans\ a
file called poi.dat.
The last entry is
[Tracklog]
MAX=2000

I wonder if I can change this value to make the explorist use more than
2000 points (per tracklog) - does this work?
Can I try without destroying something?

You can try I would copy the original to your PC, I kind of think
that number is for PC programs like Direct route and 3d topo to use to
know what the limits of the particular machine is but if you make a
copy, it shouldnt hurt anything to try
