Roadmate 6000

I am considering replacing my Roadmate 700. It is a very good machine but
does not take full UK 7 digit postcodes
Has anyone had experience of the 6000? I am looking for a unit which accepts
full post codes and has a good POI data base. The 700 lists car parks and
'park and ride' schemes, does the 6000 list these? I had a look at a 'tom
tom' this morning and was unimpressed by its routing directions and limited
POI list.
