I have a roadmate 2000, I just updated the firmware and software to the
latest version 1.56. The screen now has a new Icon, Enhanced PIO however
it is greyed out. There is nothing on the web site telling what its for
but ther was a note in that Custom POI's are enabled. Does anybody know
what the custom PIO is and what the enhanced PIO is?
One further question, I have always noticed when using it the map shows
a small maroon dot at various places on the road when traveling. Anyone
know what it is?
Thanks
Am I the only one here that has a Roadmate 2000?

Joe,
I own the Roadmate 700, not the 2000. However I did find the following
Roadmate 2200T Reference Manual, which does explain the Enhanced POI
interface:
http://www.magellangps.com/assets/manuals/2200T_EN.pdf
The fact that your Enhanced POI icon is greyed out probably means that this
feature isn't yet implemented on the 2000.
Hope this helps,
Jerry

Joe,
I didn't notice that you also mentioned "Custom POIs". They're a feature of
the Roadmate 700 and 800 series models. Here's a link to the RM 760
Reference Manual that explains them:
