Supposedly, I can extend my one year warranty to two years if I am an
AAA member. I registered on Magellan's website today, followed their
instructions to proceed to AAA's site, followed the appropriate
procedure there, then, essentially, proceeded to complete the process,
and found I had been sent back to the original page I began with, asking
me to register! Yes, I have cookies allowed, ZoneAlarm turned off and
Window's firewall turned on.! Catch 22, or in my case, 44! Any AAA
members out there (USA)?

I'll keep trying - I also note that their manual is a bit skimpy to say
the least - I'll have to go to their support site and browse there. I
had no problem hooking up via usb to my computer, and will have to see
whether I can charge the unit that way, nothing in the manual about
that, or about downloading maps, etc., or utilizing a MicroSD card!
Anyway, I can find my way around via Google, but I shouldn't have to, or
am I too "picky"? :-)

I have forgotten the details in the three months since I did it, but I
recall that I also went in circles a bit, but I did end up registered.
