I have a Magellan Meridian GPS (the basic green model). It's about 6
or 7 years old. Lately it's been having lots of problems. It's now
pretty much unusable. It takes forever to acquire satellite
information. Even after it does, it has trouble retaining the
satellites. Even when it has the satellites, the information jumps
around. For example, the time keeps shifting, the elevation shifts
dramatically, it acts like the unit is moving when it's not.
Magellan says they have zero support for the unit. All they offer is
a "trade-in" for one of the Triton models.
Is there anything I can do, or should I toss it?
Thanks.
