Does anyone have any experience adding the voice recognition commands
upgrade on the Magellan 4040?
I am curious if it works properly, what it actually controls on the
unit and is it actually a software change or a unlock code? I
currently run version 2.36.

I have not had any experience with the voice recognition, but I did
have a favor to ask you. I also have a 4040 and I accidently deleted
the files off it when I was trying to upgrade it to 2.36. I was
wondering if you would be willing to send me the files off the GPS?

I just purchased a Magellan 4040 and backed up the files. I will be
glad to help. The software version is 2.36
