Hi All,
I just got a new Explorist 500 LE, and while standing still, it
acquires and locks up to 9 satellites. After which it loses all
satellite locks. It will then attempt to lock onto some satellites
again and repeats.
Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks.

I've had an eXplorist LE for the last 4 months and have never
seen anything like this happen.
Just one question. Is this happening indoors or outdoors?
If it occurs outdoors with an unobstructed view of most of
the sky, then the unit is most likely defective. If you're
indoors, then the signal is probably being blocked by the ceiling...
GPS units don't work well inside buildings.
My 500le does this as well (loses tracking)in a Nevada desert with nothing
higher than a coyote. My 400 tracks and locks nicely. Wish I could swap
screens...lol
