If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Would the Roadmate 800 "suction window mount" be permitted as an
airline carry on item?

I used mine on a flight, crew staff saw it and didnīt ask me not to use
it. No, I didnīt have it mounted on the window...

It depends on the airline. American Airlines specifically prohibits
them. Since they are the only airline I fly with more than
occasionally, they are the only one that I have checked.
I am able to get on the plane, but typicaly not to use on the plane.
Yet, they are fun to sneek a peak at how far and fast.~John
