Has anyone heard of an update for the Magellan 2200T Roadmate.
The maps are about 3 to 4 years old now and will tend to rout
you on detours for roads under construction 4 years ago.
As I understand, they do not give any downloadable update which I suppose
you're expecting to download. I own the same unit. One of Los Angeles'
suburban street is missing a chunk of its numbers. It grayed out the
specific numbers. you cannot even input those numbers manually. FYI, this
street is probably existed there at least 40 years (yes, 40 not 4). Both
side of the street is old residential and commercial neighborhood. The
street name is Walnut Grove Ave in Rosemead, CA.
I don't have the 2200T but I do have a RoadMate 500. Magellan has told me
that they no longer support the 500 and that they'll be no more updates for
it. So, I guess I'm "sol" on it. I hope that Magellan treats the 2200T
better!
