need a hand held system (preferably a pda system) for use in both
europe and here in england.
also need advise on good software to use with the system.
cheers Marc
I have just got a Dell X50 (currently on offer) Pocket PC, also got a
Bluetooth GPS receiver from EBay, bought specifically for GPS routing !
Upgraded from a Palm OS Sony Clie, with early Tom-tom software (City maps,
and route) with a cabled GPS.
Intend to install Tom-tom 5 ... but as yet still leaning the new OS !

Must be one of these Euro-sceptics! A NO-voter perhaps?

I don't think that is the problem.
MOST of the GPS and mapping software that is available that covers Europe as
a whole has pretty terrible coverage of the UK. So UK specific software/maps
are better for use here and the European version fine for trips there.
Do other countries in Europe have country specific mapping or have they to
make do with the whole of Europe.
