I have a need to connect to a GPS receiver module around 50' away from where
I'd like to place the antenna for good satellite reception. The antennas
I'm using all use RG174 cable and are limited to around 15'.
Has anyone come across a "booster" to extend the range of the cable for the
GPS antenna?
Thanks.

Can you use a less lossy cable? I have a roof mounted active antenna
at the end of 50ft of RG 58U cable.

RG58U? Wow, that amazing!
Best is one of the hardline coax products, though they are large
diameter (over 1/2") but they are low loss.
RG58 isn't really suitable over about 500 Mhz, if that. Ditto for
RG174.

The antennas all have the 15' cables attached. Could I put an adapter on
the end and extend it with some RG58U or would the antenna need to be fitted
with a connector to accept RG58U directly? I'd prefer to not have to hack
the cables off the existing antennas...
