I bought a Magellan Meridian Gold a few years back and it came with
Mapsend Streets and Destinations Canada. I just recently won a
Explorist 500 LE and I want to know if this software will work with
the Explorist. In a perfect world, I would like to be able to use this
software rather that buy the same software for Explorist.
any suggestions out there?
Thanks in advance.

One of the disks that came with your eXplorist 500LE contains a
conversion utility that converts files from legacy Mapsend format
to the eXplorist Mapsend format (and vice versa).

Make sure you install the 'Mapsend Manager'.

You can use your Magellan map software, but you'll have to
take the extra step of converting before you transfer routes
etc between the map software and your eXplorist.
