Trying to make a decision between the Garmin eTrex Vista HCx and the GPSMAP
60CSx, could anyone give opinions on favouring one over the other. The only
functional difference I can see between them is the 60CSx has tide tables
(of little interest to me) but the units are very different in size and
battery life. Having had an old Vista I know how pocket friendly it is but
is the 60CSx more rugged, better reception that sort of thing.
Thanks,

I assume you mean by "ergonometric" ease of use, I assumed with the vast
difference in appearance of the two units the design was about more than
this but apparently not.

I own an eTrex Vista C, it has the Tide Table as soon as you instal any
marine map (world marine map or any regional marine map).

Thanks for that info I didn't realise that could be done.
