If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Other than a computer with map software, what other devices (like a PDA)
would a USB GPS Stick be used with? I'm trying to find a small device that
could be used for hikin n bikin with regular and/or topo map software.

My thought too... Suggestion the: Gisteq CD111 (also usable as a wired
GPS mouse)

Another thought would be a USB bluetooth adapter, and a bluetooth GPS.
Both of these devices can be used for a number of applications.
