TomTom Software update caused problems

Hi, I have recently purchased a 520T and it came with, I think, V7.11
of the software. All was working well (apart form the hand free
bluetooth that give the person the other end a terrible buzz when I
talk and has dreadful distortion on the speaker at my end :-( . The
traffic RDS-TMC traffic appeared to work Ok and all the options we as
in the on line manual.

Home has just updated my 520 software to version 7.480 and I now have
the following problems:

Traffic appears to no longer be working correctly - it does not show
all of the incidents on the route, although they appear in map view,
and does not show the expected delay.

Also in map view the traffic jams are now only shown in grey and not
with the animated "caterpillar" showing the direction.

In the menus I have lost all of the RDS-TMC options with the Traffic
menu now only comprising one screen of Minimise delays, Show home work
traffic, Show traffic on route, Browse map, Change traffic preferences
and Read aloud traffic info.

I have also lost Show version in the main menu.

Every time I now disconnect from the computer I now get "The voice you
have selected is not available". I am using Kate (English UK).

I have not done anything else to the system and when it first
downloaded the new software I lost my Quick menu preferences.

I think that is it! Any suggestions would be appreciated.
