While I consider Flash to be the enemy of all that is
free and right and holy, not to mention Just Plain Wrong,
I accept that YouTube have way more disk space
and net bandwidth than I do.
Please do not invent issues where there are none.

Although I am an engineer, I really don't invent a lot. Certainly I
am not trying to invent "issues". I can't view your video because I
don't use Flash. If you need bandwidth or diskspace, all you had to
do was ask. I have more of both than I need and would be happy to
upload your files or even give you a space you can upload to using
FTP. Interested?

the YouTube thing was fine.... I thought... ... as funky as
computers and software are, in general... each of us can have our own
views/preferences of what we like and do not like... but we don't need
to convince others that their choices .. in terms of how to share
something... create problems for us.. because we have different
preferences of what we would like on our own machines...
If someone offers to share something... accept it graciously ... or
not .... graciously...

MapSource is not a very good program for looking at tracks with. It is
okay for seeing your travel on the Garmin mapping and it does an okay
job on calculating speeds and elapsed times and distances.
Beyond that, you might want to try some of the third party applications
that are much more capable at distinguishing individual track points and
other details. There are several good ones here, both freewares and
sharewares:

My personal favorite is GPS Utility:

Jack - I had looked at this and others but they did not appear to use
maps....
right now I'm using NG TOPO... backroad and mid Atlantic ..... how
would the NG
software compare to the GPS utility software?
