I have a Garmin Legend C which I use in with Mapsource City Navigator and
Anquet digital maps. When tracks are downloaded into each programme they are
saved using their own kind of file type, such as .arf files for Anquet. Is
there any way that I can save a track in a format which can be emailed and
read by a programme I don't have, but a friend does, such as Memory Map?
On a related note, does anyone in the UK know whether the Navigator (Europe)
v.7 update includes UK roads missing from v.6, like the M6 Toll road and the
Hodnet bypass near Market Drayton? (I bought v.6 before Jan 2005, so I can't
upgrade free.)
Thanks in advance.

GPX is the "standard" format for GPS track files. It's supported by the

I don't know if Anquet supports GPX (yet?) but GPS Utility (
http://www.gpsu.co.uk ) can import Anquet files and export GPX.
You can use GPSBabel ( http://gpsbabel.sourceforge.net/ ) to convert to
/ from many different formats to GPX.
Use the map viewer on Garmin's site to see if it has those roads:
