Hes anyone managed to load memMap v4 maps into a Road Angel Adventurer
7000?
Seems a pity it's only v5 compatible, as I have some v4 maps for my
area & where I go MTBing, (mid Wales).
Buying the whole UK for =A3155, no aerial photos, (www.maps-
warehouse.co.uk) seems a bit extravagant on top of the unit itself.
Thought I'd enquire before I purchased.
TIA, Niv.
What error do you get? There is a workaround for using older maps on
the PC and PocketPC version whih requires using a Hex Editor to change
the year in the map, takes a few seconds to do. I still use 2004 maps
with the latest version of MM with this hack.

No error yet as I haven't bought the Road Angel yet either, but am
trying to find if the hex-edit versions of MM v4 will work
on the Road Angel Adventurer. I've tried MM v5.0 with a hex edited v4
map, seems to work OK.
However, I've heard that the latest MM v5.2 does not accept these
edited maps, and was wondering if that's
what I'll get if I buy the Road Angel.
