My wife and I will be traveling to Ireland in May. I'm planning on taking my
Garmin Streetpilot c530 with us for the car rental. I've purchased the City
Navigator Europe NT SD card UK & Ireland, which seems to work fine, my
question, is there a way to back this up on another card "just in case"?
I've tried simple Copy-N-Paste and it says it can't unlock maps off the
copy.
Also, is the Travel Guide Northwestern Europe card worth the expense? Has
anyone used any of the Travel Guide cards? Any advise will be helpful.

The story I heard, is that the map is tied to the serial number of the SD
card - which seems to match your experience.

Don't get too excited. The map coverage in Ireland is very spotty,
especially in the West. Dublin is OK, but I was dissapointed.

Version 9 is quite good actually, but it was indeed spotty.
