My wife has one of these with a 2 GB SD card. She likes the unit, but
hasn't figured out how to utilize the extra 2 GB. Is there some trick
to getting MP3 files on the 2GB card, and then getting them to play?
She can view JPEG images on the card, but can't access MP3's. She can
only play MP3's loaded to the internal memory.

Touch the muscial note icon at the bottom of the screen when in the map
view. Thiss will launch the player, and it should automotically detect
the directory on the SD card containing the .mp3 folders/files

Well, that works fine for locating the JPEG images on the SD card, but
it doesn't find the MP3 files. Maybe the unit she has is defective.
Do you happen to know if there is a special directory name that the
MP3 files should be loaded into? since the folder in the internal
memory was named "MP3" I simply created a folder in the SD card with
the same name, thinking that would work, but no go so far....

Mine is on the road right now, so I can't say.
Whatever it was ...I named the directory myself... and the player
located them and offered a list.
