Has anybody figured out how to enter a place on Garmin's Nuvi
265W by just touching the map/screen at the location of the
place?

How about direct-entering a place by keying in lat/long numbers?

I withdraw the question.

Touch the screen, look for the little arrow, click "Save"....

But the lat/long direct entry would still be a nice-to-have...

Beyond the "Where To?" go to the bottom, there's a "Coordinates"
button. Don't forget to set the format with the button at the
bottom...

Geeze, I didn't even *see* the ScrollDown arrow on that screen.

Thanks!

Call me easily impressed, but I find the amount of functionality
and data in this little thing just short of amazing.

I have been and continue to be fully amazed by these things, and when
I hear people bitch about spending money for new map data I think
they've lost their perspective.

Especially - if you can afford a car, insurance & gas, how can you not
afford the best tools that make using your car more efficient?
