Hello:
I was hoping that the HP site would have a PDF version of the manual
for a calculator that was sold before PDF existed. :-(
Now I hope someone out there has an HP-28C calculator and knows how to
use it well.
I would like to convert between decimal degrees, minutes, seconds, et
al. on my trusty HP-28C.
On a related note: I can type a location's coordinate in Google Maps
and go to the location, but what about the other way around? Is there
anyway I can click on a spot a find its coordinates?
TIA,
-Ramon

On my Google Earth the coordinates are shown in the status bar at the bottom
of the screen. You need to have the status bar enabled, look at the
View/Status Bar menu option.

PDF versions of *all* HP calculators have been posted in the newsgroup
alt.binaries.e-book.technical. I've seen the files posted several
times within the last year, and downloaded the manuals for my two old
HP calculators, the HP15C and HP16C, both manufactured well before PDF
files were available. The files posted are "scans" of actual manuals,
and so are not as useful as a manual designed to be an electronic
copy, but nevertheless, very useful.
I suggest you first check the archives, and if the postings have
expired (likely) then request a repost of the manual specific to your
calculator.
