IPAQ Navigation Bluetooth GPS w/SmartST Software in Australia?

I was thinking about purchasing a HP IPAQ Navigation GPS module,

for use in Australia using the SmartST navigation software.
I am using an IPAQ 2210, and need to know if this GPS receiver will
work with any mapping software, or only the supplied software? (Of
which I believe is USA maps etc, and the particular product I am
looking at is second hand and has no software with it anyway)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you been able to find a trial version of SmartST (Aus)? I'm
looking for a similar setup to yours and Destinator 3 was highly
recommended.
