Looking for a plug-in to enable GPS data logging to generate a track
in PPC GPS navigator ( pocket windows based).

Not a true plugin, but GPSGate is a very fine program for (amongst a lot of
other things) logging gps data on a ppc. Use the GPSGate CE version on your
ppc and the PC-version on your desktop.

some other functions :
Share gps data between two or more applications by defining virtual
comports.
Log gps signals (nmea-sentences) on your ppc and replay them on your
desktop, using google earth or google maps to see where you have been.
Simulate gps tracks to test programs or just for fun.
Share your ppc gps with your desktop as if the gps receiver is attached
directly to the desktop. Use either Active sync or bluetooth to connect both
devices.
And more...
