I have a newbie question here. I've downloaded the maps from
http://okapi.ict.pwr.wroc.pl/~tsurmacz/gps/pl/ so I can drive in Poland.
I've tried using sendmap USB to my Garmin Steetpilot 2610 and the maps
appear, but have no autorouting. Also, when I do this method, it erases my
CF card of all the maps within Germany, CZ, etc. I wanted to include the
Surmancz maps in Mapsource so that I can route and upload all the
appropiate maps, routes, waypoints from my PC Mapsouce to my Streetpilot.
The maps downloaded from above don't have the .TDB file for Mapsource to
index it so how can I get/generate one? If there is documentation out
there, its in Polish and I can't read it!

Thanks for your help!

All normal behavior, sending maps to the 2610 erases old maps,
Mapsource will always create 1 file with all your maps so even using a
cardreader will not help you have to load everything in 1 go.
To do this, in Mapsource you can select multiple map products at the
same time, look at the Maps tab, switching map products will not remove
the selections you already made.
As for autorouting, most free maps do not have this, there are Polish
autorouting maps for sale at http://www.gpmapa.pl/english/index.htm
I have no idea what they cost though.

I think that Wingman's problem is that he is attempting to load maps
using both Mapsource and Sendmap. He has to use one or the other, not
both when transferring maps ot the GPSr.

Sendmap is capable of loading folders from multiple mapping programs.

True, most non-Garmin maps do not include autorouting.

Oops I just noticed that you said the tdb file is missing. I wish I
know how to create one. It won't work without it.

You can create one with MapDekode.
