I'm new to this and would like to know how it would be possible to make the
coordinates made in a GoogleMaps API converted to .gpx so people can
download a file maybe from a popup windows on GoogleMaps? I have asked in
the newsgroup for GoogleMaps API but have not got any answer yet.:-(

I'm thinking about making a site showing the toilets in Copenhagen,
Denmark and think it would be really great if people could get this
informations to their GPS and Mobile Phone's so when they are in the
City they can find this toilets instead of as it is now they have to
figure it out on their computer before they go.
Is this possible now and if so how? - Maybe not for Denmark yet but if
it's possible for USA I think it would be possible for Denmark
later.:-)
I have made a test site here http://www.tinemuller.dk/wholocations/
AND
If it's not possible would it then be possible to convert the address
manually and then make a .gpx file which people then could download
from a link from the popup window?

I pasted the coordinates from my first address
55.68043359619566,12.587767839431762 in http://maps.google.com/ and got this
informations:
+55° 40' 49.56", +12° 35' 15.96
Is this the information for GPS?
/Tine
I have now used GMapToGPX explained from this site
http://www.elsewhere.org/journal/gmaptogpx and have made a link to the file
in the popup windows here http://www.tinemuller.dk/googlemap/part1_a.html . I
have asked my host to give me the right to see .gpx format but for now it's
in .txt format, which should be ok.
/Tine
Could one you you which have a GPS please test if the file is functioning?

I loaded this file in TTQV. It does contain a waypoint (correct) near
a spot called Nyhavn in Kobenhavn. The name of the point is this
55.680434, 12.587768 (+55° 40' 49.56", +12° 35' 15.96")
You may want to change this to a 10 character readable name. Many GPS
receivers do not take names longer than 10 characters, some only take
6.
