I was sent this location from a friend which is just where theyre staying
overnight:
S23'25.482 E150'27.810
Im assuming thats pretty much exactly how it looks on the Garmin GPS?
But enter it into Google Earth and it doesnt work because of the wrong
format I guess.
So i tried this approximate one, which does work:
23°25'0.0"S, 150°27'0.0"E
But I'm not having any luck getting the exact one. This works, but im not
sure if it's right? ...
23°25'0.482"S, 150°27'0.810"E
Replace the degree symble with a space. A comma separator between lat
and lon may also help.

Try this format:
S23 25.482 E150 27.810

The apostrophe needs to be a degree symbol.
The degree symbol is a pain because computer keyboards don't
have that symbol. To type a degree symbol, hold the ALT
key down and enter 248 on the keypad like this: =B0.
Another method is to use a calculator and convert it
to a decimal number.
degrees =3D degrees + ( ( seconds / 60 ) + minutes ) / 60
