How do I get Delorme Street Atlas to run on ubuntu in the same manner as
it runs on W2K?
Trip planning, street maps, etc.

Maybe under WINE.
It's a crapshoot at best.
WIndows is windows, Linux is Linux. No guarantee software for one is going to
run on the other.

It certainly MAY run under wine, but it's a sure bet that it will run
under VMWare workstation, since you'd boot windows inside it. The
question is whether it's worth $190 for you to do so...

Win4lin should work too.. http://www.win4lin.com/
Note that with win4lin and VMWare, you need a valid copy of
Windows.. You install them in the virtual machine as you
would on a stand alone computer.

Gonna be more than that. You'd have to have a license for Windows as well, which
kinda defeates one of the purposes of running Linux.
