Precisely, my Pocket PC (Medion PPC150) does all of those things and is
a computer too. it's also about the same size as a Blackberry.

Sorry but I don't agree. I tried using my Dell Axim X50v as a GPS device for
awhile with increasing dissatisfaction. Besides that you had to pre-plan
your route and load the appropriate maps into memory in advance (which was
not always as easy a task as it sounds if you're taking a trip of any length
and was alwats a pain), and that the screens are just too small for real
usefulness, the device would consistently lock up and crash after having
performed just a few re-routes no matter how well I cleared memory, closed
down other programs, used a memory management program, or moved all my other
programs out of internal memory and on to external CF and SD cards .
I finally bought a dedicated GPS device (at first a Garmin C330 and then a
Nuvi 350) and find those a pleasure to use, performing their function(s)
nearly flawlessly. No lockups or crashes yet though I consistently cause
them to re-route. And the screens are actually seeable and the spoken
directions and warnings always audible.
Convince yourselves if you want, but imho pocket PCs do not yet live up to
their promise while dedicated GPS devices (even with built-in ancilliary
music/video functions) do.
