After waiting about 5 months for the Ecco keyfob GPS to ship, I was
dismayed to find that while it recharges via USB cable, they have
elected to use a different design for the device end than any mini or
micro I've ever seen. This means that I must now carry yet another
cable when traveling. It would have been so easy to incorporate a
typical, standard, mini USB adapter, but they chose some weird
proprietary version that only they seem to have.

Outside of that complaint, the device works as advertised. Just beware
of the recharging issue before buying.

Question about this device.
When do you turn it on? If, for example, you are going to park in a large
lot. Would you need to turn it on before you park to avoid a long satellite
fix? Or does it lock in less than 30 seconds? Would you then turn it off
while shopping to save battery or leave it on? How often do you charge it?
Thanks,,,
