Hi All

It's time to get a new GPS. It will NOT be a Magellen.
I want one that makes new updates available yearly. Yes, I'm willing
to pay for it, but would like them to be available regularly.

Thanks

Jack

Dash Express - is the one I'm looking at. Auto-updates maps
and traffic, syncs with your computer, etc. $300 or so
on Amazon. Even if it's buggy, it's the right direction for
GPS companies to go. (Still using a Garmin iQue 360!)

Garmin should be more than happy to get extra $$$ from happy customer, and
we hope with more happy customers like you we may even enjoy a lower upgrade
price?

TomTom has several paid updates/year. With their MapShare you can even
download free updates for your current map.

Have people found this reliable? After my maps acquired an erroneous one-way
bit in a main road in North London, I have avoided downloading further
updates.
