orthophotos & orthorectified images

can you explain me the difference between an orthophoto and an
orthorectified image?

You may think in terms of usage and audience . If it is in use by
a GIS user , he may call it orthophoto.
on the other hand if its an RS professional working with imageries ,
or a particular audience knowing better
on imagery analysis ,he opts to use orthorectified.
