Hi,

I have been working a while with a brand new FME, ArcView 3.2 and an
even older version of MapInfo...

What I need is to be able to (pre)view, see object information
(coordinates, attributes etc) and edit (create/move/delete) objects in
a shape-file with x/y/z coordinates.

None of the above tools do that, and while I know that ArcGIS will do
this I find it both too
expensive and too difficult to use.

Can anyone recommend a not-too-expensive and easy to use high-quality
shape-filer viewer and editor ?? I've tried GlobalMapper but it dosn't
really seems to do the job...

Best regards,
Hans Olav

here please send it directly to my e-mail address

I have lately been testing TatukGIS Editor for shape file viewing / editing,
but I don't know if it will handle z-values. The rest of your specifications
should be OK.
