I'm currently getting the following error from sdelayer -o add:
ArcSDE 9.1 for Oracle10g Build 1206 Fri Oct 19 08:31:29 2007
Layer Administration Utility
-----------------------------------------------------
Error: projection is not a coordinate system.
I got this error from the following command (N.B. I tried two
different versions of this command, one with coordinate system code
[the -G command line arg] 4269 and another with coordinate system code
6269 and got the same error both times):
sdelayer -o add -P 64 -e s -k SDO_GEOMETRY -E
-399.9999999,-399.9999999,14073348.8355329,14073348.8355329 -l
[layername] ,Shape -G [6269 or 4269] -i 5158 -u [user] -p [password]
Now, it's my understanding (from the ArcSDE Adminstration Command
Reference) that these integer codes come from a file pedef.h, which I
was able to find on the web without a problem. So why am I getting
that error?
I will say that the version of pedef.h that I found online was from
10.20.2003, so the codes might be out of date. If that's the case,
where on the filesystem can I find this pedef.h file?
Any insight would be VERY appreciated.
Thanks,
Me
