Hi,
We use GeoMedia 5.2 with both hot fixes installed:
5.2.20.59 and 5.2.20.61.
Computer: Processor Pentium4 3000MHz
RAM 1GB
HD 200GB
Graphic Card 256 MB
Windows XP Pro SP2
connected to WinNT 4 Server domain.
The problem is that the time between clicking
on any icon like vertex move, pan, zoom etc.
and the moment when you have a proper cursor
on the screen (cross, palm etc.) is about 2-3
seconds. The same happens when choosing
from the menu instead of clicking on an icon.
However, when you already have the cursor,
everything goes very quickly.
Unfortunately, we have to change the tools very
often so the delay is really a nuisance.
It seems that the time doesn't depend on size of
orthophotomap, database (Access) nor number of
objects.
We didn't have such problem when we used
GM 5.1 on an old computer under WinNT4 Wkst
with the same WinNT 4 Server domain.
Is there any way to solve the problem?
Regards,
User
