Senior GIS Developer Opportunity in Reston, VA and Washington, DC

capital solutions. I am currently seeking a Senior GIS Developer based
out of Reston, VA and Washington, DC.


This is a six months contract to hire position with one of our reputed
clients, which is one of the leading engineering and energy management
firms , also a primary provider of GIS technology and services within
the Federal Government. The application that is being developed is
going to be highly visible throughout the Government and offers an

=B7 BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, or similar field,

=B7 3-5 years of programming experience in Java or .NET with web based
applications

=B7 geospatial knowledge and practical experience with projects
incorporating server-based geospatial data;

=B7 working knowledge of web server configuration in both Windows and
Linux platforms;

=B7 experience with ESRI's ArcIMS and developing Java-based GIS
portals;

=B7 experience working with relational databases including Oracle,
Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL is a plus.
