Hi everybody,
I would like to do things like zooming a svg image and (if possible)
adding labels to identify some polygons. Is there any tool (if
possible, free) that can help me with this? Of course, I would like
to
zoom not just for visualization but also for saving the file with the
new size.
Thanks,
Sergio

Since SVG is a vector format ('scalable'), saving with a "size" is not a

If you have geodata, you can use OpenJUMP to create an SVG format
(http://openjump.org/ ). To edit SVG I recommend
http://www.inkscape.org/

Hi,
thanks, this seems really useful! But before that, it seems I have
another problem... I used the software below to convert a bmp image to
svg. And it worked... It was a map of a contry, with provinces
delimited. The problem is that all the map, with the inner borders,
was recognized as a single polygon. Is it possible to make it
recognize the different boundaries? That is, I want that every polygon/
province be recognized as a different node in the svg file.
Thanks in advance!
