Hi
Can anyone tell me the transverse mercator parameters for Russia. I am
using the Pulkovo 1942, Russia datum (ellipsoid Krassovsky). What I
need are the following:
scalefactor
longitude of central meridian
latitude of projection origin
false easting
false northing
Thanx

The Russian TM parameters (and the German DHG) are identical to the
UTM - EXCEPT that the scale factor at origin is unity.
The correct name of the datum is "System 42." The origin point of
that classical datum is at Pulkovo Observatory, and the initial datum
adjustment was in 1942 and referenced the Krassovsky 1940 ellipsoid.
