Environmental Scientist II
(Performance Management Specialist -Environmental Public Health)
$4489.00 - $7162.00
This position is located within the Administration Division of the
Department of Environmental Health, City and County of Denver, and
supports a wide variety of environmental public health program areas,
as well as customer relations management and performance management
initiatives. The position has varying levels of project management and
development responsibility, but is predicated on the applicant's
ability to successfully support the department's customer service,
operational review and technical needs. The goal of an Operational
Review is to help departments and agencies improve performance, improve
cost-effectiveness, improve quality and operate in the most efficient
manner possible. Requires a Degree in Engineering, Public Health,
Environmental Health, or one of the sciences and three years of
experience in project management, business process flow and systems
analysis, using IT tools in an environmental/public health setting.
Experience integrating ESRI's suite of GIS products with an assortment
of mainstream IT technologies and experience with the full life cycle
development processes of integrating information technologies is
considered a plus. Program management, computer programming or field
work experience, do not represent qualifying experience. For
