I have started a usergroup that is essentially meant to serve as a
mailing list for GIS related events, books, journal, jobs, news (in
that same order of importance), that you would like to promote. The
motivation behind the group is to reduce cross-posting and limited
coverage of your information.
BUT the group is NOT for posting your GIS related queries.
Here are the essentials:
