Need to make three components RGB maps

Dear All,

I have to use ArcInfo 9.1 (all bells and whistles) to make 3 components
color maps (RGB) starting from 3 interpolated maps (in grey). I have
searched in the documentation help, but when I tried I immediately run into
problems (surely due to my inesperience).

I would really appreciate if someone with more experience could give me
detailed info (a procedure) on how to make these maps and generate the
appropriate colour scale.
