My C: drive is full (125 GB) and ~ 100GB is my GIS folders. I have a
250 GB Drive D: with virtually nothing on it. Is there a way to move
all of my GIS folders to the drive D and the make a global change to
have ArcMap, ArcScene and ArcCatalog look in Drive D for files
previously "pathed" to Drive C?
THanks
If your projects were setup with relatibve paths then that should be ok.
otherwise the paths will be absolute and you will have t find a way to
change all refrences to the new drive. ArcCatalog has a mechanism for this
but you have to do it for each project. Not only that the updating process
strips VBA code and customizations out of the copied MXD. You could aslo
shceck in the support section in www.esri.com or edn.esri.com
