Hi guys,

I am using MapInfo with Australian maps.

I was provided with a Australia.gst that contained links to multiple
TAB files. When I try to load this gst using the Geoset Manager it
brings up error after error saying that it cannot create a seamless
table...

What would be the cause of this?

I opened up the TAB files and one of the attributes is IsSeamless and
this is set to TRUE. If I change all the TAB files contents to have
IsSeamless = FALSE then the Geoset Manager brings up the gst file but
the map is displayed as blocks.

Any suggestions on this would help.

Thanks,

George

Hi George,

MapX Geoset Manager will not open seamless tables.

You need to convert the .gst file into a MapInfo workspace file (.wor)

You can do this in MapInfo by going to Tools>Tool Manager and ticking
the box for MapX Geoset Utility

Then go to Tools>MapX Geoset Utility> Open MapX Geoset and then save as
a workspace

I think this should work
