Hi everybody,

I have to create a system for my project at the university. I've
thought in a application made in Java. The system will have to find the
paths between two points of a map (a map of my city). So I was thinking
in use GIS technology to create the full map. I'd probably need some
libraries made in Java to work with this map and I a quite lost.

So my questions are:

Which program have I to use to create the map by my own?
and then How manage this map using Java?

I will waiting answers.
Thanks.
Iago
