Hello,
I'm new to GIS and have been trying to find a georeferenced map of the
world without success. I'm not too concerned with where the map comes
from (i.e., satellite imagery, computer generated) as long as it is
georeferenced. Are such maps available? I've had no problem finding
digital elevation maps of the world, but georeferenced images seem to
be very scare. Perhaps my terminology is wrong? Should I be searching
for something else.
