Hello everyone,
I'm using MapXtreme 2005 as a GIS solution.
I'm developing a system that would assess the traffic congestion
density in a city in real time and represent it on a digital map on a
website. Based on some real data from sensors in the streets or
simulated data to represent the actual congestion, the system would
color the streets of the city with a range of colors each representing
some congestion density (red for crowded, green for not crowded or
whatever) My problem is that the street class of MapXtreme does not
contain the coordinates of the street. I need each street in the map
as an object that has its coordinates in order to refer to each street
separately in the coloring process. Does anyone know how to extract
these street coordinates? Where are they found? Are they in the
native .tab files of the table representing the street layer?
Regards
Kareem
