hi,

I've downloaded from
http://www2.erdas.com/supportsite/downloads/models/models_menu.html

the model : "Converting spectral radiance from band 6 of Landsat 4 and
Landsat 5 data to temperature values in degrees Celsius"

I tried model for landsat 5 with lanier.img "Erdas examples
directory"

As a result I got an image with values like these : 294.751 , 295.158
etc.
It supposed these values to represent degrees Celcius.
As it is impossible to have 294.751 Celsius, I assume I have to
divide by 10 ? If yes why ? Is something going wrong ?

I tried again with other landsat5 images and got again similar
values.

Thanks
Costas

These are temperatures in Kelvin. Subtract 273.15 to convert to degrees
Celcius.
