I am trying to symbolize a building that has a doughnut shape and
enough point entities lie within in . A polygon would certainly not
leave gap inside it . What could be the workaround ?
I think spatial intersection would do it . How can I do in in
ArcMap ?

There are more than one sort of polygon topology... in one of them
polygons are simple (i.e. without "holes" or "islands") in others they
are more complex: it depends on the system you're using.
