Canada Neighourhood Mapping Service
There is a new service that combines census, street and other information
where you can look for and map a wide variety of demographics about people
who live anywhere in Canada. With it, you can identify desireable
neighbourhoods
for relocation, target marketing, etc, or just simply learn more about who
lives in your neighbourhood or city.
NOTE: This service is currently provided for all provinces and territories
EXCEPT British Columbia and New Brunswick (service will be added for these
provinces next month).

Notice that the map generated is not a bitmap: it's something much, much
better (right click on the map to see more details)!

INSTRUCTIONS:
You start by entering the postal code of the neighbourhood of interest, and
select a statistic to map. You can control the size of the map by choosing a
particular coverage size (from neighbourhood up to a large metropolitan
area) and map size.
Categories you can reveal / discover are as follows:
GENERAL DEMOGRAPHICS: Single Young Women, Detached House, Residence Value,
Far commute to work, Unemployment rate, Transients, University Degree.
AGE: Preschool (0-4), Children (5-14), Young Adult (15-24), Adult (25-49),
Adult (50-64), Senior (65+).
INCOME: Family Income, Total Economic Activity, Average Per Person.
CITIZENSHIP: Canadian, Other.
MOTHER TONGUE: English, French, Italian, German, Chinese.
RELIGION: Roman Catholic, No Religion, United Church, Anglican, Muslim,
Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Sikh, Pagan.
